Anderson County Municipal Court Warrants
Municipal courts handle the smaller stuff. In Anderson County, that means city ordinance, traffic, and criminal misdemeanor matters. A judge can issue an arrest or bench warrant in any case within the court's authority. Miss a court date, and an FTA or bench-warrant process often follows. The county publishes no shared city-warrant search. The clerk can confirm a city ticket and explain its payment or appearance route. The clerk cannot recall a warrant alone. A judge or the court process must authorize it. Check the city on the paper before using a county search.
Anderson County Municipal Warrant Judges
Anderson Municipal Court sits at 401 South Main Street. Its number is (864) 231-2271. Judges there stand ready 24 hours a day to sign city arrest and search warrants for Anderson County cases. That duty is judicial only. The clerk counter is not a walk-in window at any hour, so plan around posted times. Traffic court convenes Monday through Thursday at 9 a.m., and criminal court follows at 10 a.m. Bond hearings run daily at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Anderson Municipal Court's official page posts the schedules, fine-payment methods, and courtroom rules, so check it before asking a judge to recall process.

Those schedules help with planning. They do not promise that an Anderson County warrant can be cleared at a public counter.

Belton Municipal Warrant Court and ACSO Police
Belton keeps its court and its policing apart. The city's official page says the Anderson County Sheriff's Office supplies all police services for Belton. City tickets still belong to the municipal clerk. Peyton Holbert answers at (864) 338-8448. ACSO service does not turn the sheriff's site into a Belton warrant portal. The city court meets Wednesday at 9 a.m. Pre-trials, bench trials, and jury trials land on the last Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. Anderson County lists Belton Summary Court bond court on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Those calendars serve different needs. Confirm whether the matter is a city case or a county Summary Court case. Belton's court page connects to its Online Payment Center and the current schedule. The court and the county police roles stay separate even when the agencies cooperate.
Anderson County Municipal Warrant Checks
No Anderson County city posts a universal municipal-warrant roster. The South Carolina Public Index can display selected court case information, and the Traffic Ticket Search can find some citations. Neither tool confirms a current city warrant status. Call the city clerk with the case or ticket number. Ask if the case is ordinance, traffic, or criminal. Ask whether a warrant was issued and whether the judge wants payment, a new date, or an appearance. For county-held service, the ACSO Warrant Division can explain its role.
- Copy the city and case number from the paper.
- Use the state traffic search only for an eligible citation.
- Call the municipal clerk for FTA, fine, and recall instructions.
- Ask which agency serves the warrant and where to report.
- Keep the receipt or order and check when status updates.
Honea Path Municipal Warrant Notice Changed Dates
Honea Path Municipal Court handles traffic, criminal misdemeanor, ordinance, arraignment, bond, preliminary, bench, and jury matters. The clerk is Elizabeth Davis, extension 108. A September 3, 2026 town notice postponed September and October traffic and criminal cases after the judge's death. New-date letters were mailed to affected people. Payment plans stayed open, and the notice described a specific payment route. It never recalled every outstanding warrant. It also never excused anyone from a prior court instruction. Check the current Honea Path Municipal Court page and call the clerk about your case before mailing money or making the drive to this Anderson County town.
Anderson County Municipal Warrants: Public Record Fields
A city-court record may list a ticket or cause number, the court, the offense or ordinance, and hearing dates. It may also show payment status and an FTA or bench-warrant entry. Fields differ by city. No Anderson County city publishes a universal warrant-field schema.
| Case number | Copy from the ticket or court notice |
|---|---|
| City court | Use the municipality named on the paper. |
| Offense | Traffic, ordinance, or other qualifying criminal matter. |
| Payment or bond | Confirm the amount and accepted method with the clerk. |
| Status | Ask whether the court entered an FTA, warrant, recall, or new date. |
A ticket payment receipt may not show that a separate judge's order was changed.

Belton's court page shows a local schedule and clerk contact for one Anderson County city, not a warrant roster.
Williamston Municipal Warrant Court Numbers
One building in Anderson County holds two different numbers. Williamston Police and Summary Court both sit at 12 West Main Street, yet each answers its own line. Police administration takes calls at (864) 847-7473. Summary Court is (864) 847-5560. Dial the court when your question involves a court date, an FTA, a payment, or an instruction from the judge, since only that office speaks to warrant status and recall. The police line, by contrast, routes reports and handles law-enforcement service. Hours matter here too. Summary Court opens Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and closes on Friday. Its criminal bond court convenes Wednesday at 10 a.m. One warning: a call to police cannot settle a warrant's standing or trigger a recall, because that control rests with the court alone. Confirm the current hours before you drive over, since schedules shift.
Anderson County Municipal Warrants: Service and Recall
Serving a warrant and clearing it are two different jobs in Anderson County. Deputies from ACSO or city police can execute a municipal warrant anywhere in the county. The municipal judge and clerk, though, still own the docket. Only they can recall the warrant, reset a court date, or close the case. Belton shows the split plainly: ACSO patrols the city while a city clerk keeps the Municipal Court records. If one office shows the warrant and another does not, call the clerk and ask which judge controls the case. Do not assume the Sheriff's Office can recall it just because a deputy served it.
Clearing a Municipal Court Warrant
Call the clerk before you pay anything. Ask whether a municipal warrant is open, whether the judge must approve a recall, and what payment the court takes. Anderson City Court allows online, mail, and in-person fine payment in Anderson County. Mail must use a cashier's check or money order. Card payments require identification and carry a transaction fee. Those rules cover payment only, so treat them as no promise that the warrant clears.
Get the court's instruction: Payment, reset, bond, and warrant recall can be separate steps; request a receipt or written order for the action taken.
Honea Path runs its own online and mail payment routes. Pendleton posts no clerk phone, payment form, warrant lookup, or recall procedure on its official pages. Do not borrow another town's rule. Call the town and the issuing court first, and keep attending the underlying case after the warrant is handled.
